Abstract


The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the influence of work environment and compensation to
the job satisfaction of the employees. The population of this research is all of employees at PT. PutriGelora Jaya
with the samples are 50 respondents.The data analysis technique has been done by using multiple linear
regressions analysis which is meant to calculate the magnitude of influence of work environment and
compensation to the job satisfaction of the employees. Meanwhile the goodness of fit (F test) has been applied to
test the feasibility of the model in this research. The result of F test shows that regressions model is used to
predict the job satisfaction of the employees. The result of the F test shows that the regressions model can be used
to predict of the job satisfaction of the employees. The hypothesis test has been done by using the t test.The result
of t test shows that the work environment has significant influence to the job satisfaction of the employees. The
compensation has significant influence to the job satisfaction of the employees. The work environment has
dominant influence to the job satisfaction of the employees.
