Abstract

Dividend policy is a decision to determine how large the percentage of the current corporate revenues or profits which will be paid out as dividend (dividen payout ratio) and how large the retained earnings and the reinvested to the company (retained earning). The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of profitability, liquidity and cash position to the dividend policy on food and beverages sub-sector companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2015 periods. The samples have been selected by using purposive sampling method. 9 of 14 companies which have met the criteria have been selected as samples. The analysis method has been done by using multiple linear regression analysis and the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) application. The result of the research shows that profitability which is proxy by return on assets and liquidity which is proxy by current ratio give significant influence to the dividend policy and cash position does not give any significant influence.
