Abstract

The development of human resources within the organization is the quality improvement process in order to achieve good performance from employees. To obtain good performance of employees, a structured and effective attempt such as increased motivation, incentives and the enforcement of labor dicipline must be pursued. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of motivation, incentive, and work discipline to the performance of employees. The population is all production division employees of PT. Petrosida Gresik and the sample collection has been done by using saturated sampling techniques and 37 people have been selected as samples. The analysis technique has been done by using multiple regressions analysis.The result of the test shows that motivation, incentives and work dicipline have an influence to the performance of employees. These results indicate that the analysis models are feasible to be used as the research model. This condition is supported by the acquisition of multiple correlation coefficient of 82.3% which shows the correlation among variables i.e. motivation, incentives and dicipline to the performance of employees is firm. The result of the test shows that motivation, incentives and work dicipline, each of them has positive influence to the performance of employees. Meanwhile, motivation is the variable which has dominant influence to the performance of employees and its determination coefficient is 32.31% which is larger than other variables.
