PENGARUH NET PROFIT MARGIN, RETURN ON ASSETS, DAN RETURN ON EQUITY TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PADA PERUSAHAAN SUBSEKTOR ROKOK YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

This research examined the effect of net profit margin, return on assets, and return on equity on the stock price of cigarette companies listed on the indonesia stock exchange (idx) during 2016-2022. The research was causal-comparative with a quantitative approach. The data were secondary, taken from companies’ financial statements. Moreover, the data collection technique used saturated sampling. Since all population members were homogenous, they were the sample. In line with that, there were three cigarette companies as the sample. Furthermore, the data were taken for 7 years (2016-2022). In total, there were 21 data collected. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with spss (statistical program for social science) 29 version. The result, which used a hypothesis test (t-test), concluded that both net profit margin (npm) and return on assets (roa) had a significant effect on stock price. However, return on equity (roe) had an insignificant effect on stock price.
