PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, PERTUMBUHAN PENJUALAN DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of profitability, sales growth, and firm size on the firm value of
Cosmetic and Household companies listed on IDX during 2017-2022. Profitability was measured by Return On
Equity (ROE), sales growth was measured by Sales Growth (SG), firm size, was measured by Firm Size, and
firm value was measured by Price to Book Value (PBV). The research was causal- comparative and quantitative
approach. Moreover, the data were secondary and taken from companies’ annual reports. The population was 6
Cosmetic and Household companies listed on IDX during 2017-2022. Furthermore, the data collection technique
used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 6 companies which fulfilled as the sample. The data
analysis technique used multiple linear with SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) 26. The result of the
hypothesis test showed that profitability (ROE) had a positive and significant effect on firm value (PBV).
However, sales growth had a negative and insignificant effect on firm value (PBV). In contrast, firm size had a
positive and significant effect on firm value (PBV).
