Abstract

Entrepreneurs are innovators with the ability to transform potential into brilliant ideas by utilizing existing resources, creating new business opportunities, especially for individuals who have not yet secured employment. This research aims to analyze and comprehend the impact of motivation on students' entrepreneurial interest and how the family environment influences entrepreneurial interest among students. The research methodology employed is quantitative, involving 100 respondents selected using Non-Probability Sampling and Purposive Sampling. The results of the data analysis using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) version 25 software demonstrate that motivation significantly influences students' entrepreneurial interest, whereas the influence of the family environment on students' entrepreneurial interest is not significant. These findings carry important implications for the development of entrepreneurial skills among students and the fostering of motivation in the educational environment, ultimately enhancing students' entrepreneurial interest to create new business opportunities beneficial to society at large, particularly for individuals yet to secure employment.
