PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS, FIRM SIZE, DAN SALES GROWTH TERHADAP KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEN PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR ENERGI

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence by examining the effect of profitability, liquidity, company size, and sales growth on dividend policy. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study uses secondary data obtained from financial statement data of energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period. The samples obtained were based on purposive sampling techniques, and the samples obtained were in accordance with the criteria set by 11 companies. The data was processed using multiple linear regression analysis models. The results showed in the normality test that the data used were normal. In the classical assumption test that there are no deviations, the F and R tests show that the proposed model is feasible for use. Based on the hypothesis test carried out, variables were obtained; Profitability has a positive and significant effect on dividend policy, Liquidity has a positive and significant effect on dividend policy, Firm Size has a positive and significant effect on dividend policy, and Sales Growth has a negative and significant effect on dividend policy.
