PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN PENJUALAN, PROFITABILITAS, DAN LIKUIDITAS TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PADA PERUSAHAAN PULP DAN KERTAS DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

This research aimed to find out, examine and analyze the effect of sales growth, profitability, and liquidity on the stock price of pulp and paper companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2017-2022 period. Furthermore, profitability was measured by Return On Assets, and liquidity was measured by the Current Ratio.This research used comparative causal with a quantitative approach. Moreover, the research population used pulp and paper companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research sample collection technique used a purposive sampling method determined with the criteria and certain considerations. Based on the sample purposive sampling method used 6 companies. Meanwhile, the research data taken during 6 years, in the 2017-2022 period, obtained 31 processed data. In addition, the research data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS 29 version. The research result showed that sales growth and liquidity (Current Ratio) had a positive and significant effect on the stock price. On the other hand, profitability (Return On Asset) had a positive and insignificant effect on the stock price.
