ANALISIS KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN SEBELUM DAN SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19 PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the companies’ financial performance before (2017 and 2018); and during the pandemic of Covid-19 (2019 and 2020) at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Moreover, the population was 30 manufacturing companies. The research was quantitative with a comparative approach. The data collection technique used non-probability sampling, with saturated sampling as its sampling technique. The sample was homogeneous based on the criteria given. In line with that, there were 15 companies as the sample during 2017-2020. Furthermore, the research was quantitative. The data were secondary, in the form of companies’ financial statements. The data analysis technique used SPSS 20. The result concluded that liquidity was referred to as the Current Ratio, leverage was referred to as Debt to Asset Ratio, and profitability was referred to as Return On Asset; before and during the pandemic of Covid-19 had an insignificant effect on the financial performance of manufacturing companies. This happened as the companies during the pandemic had optimally managed their assets. As a consequence, they could fulfill their obligations well. Also, they could gain profits although having a decline.
