PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS LIKUIDITAS DAN SOLVABILITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAN FOOD AND BEVERAGES YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

The Food and Beverage industry is a sector which growing along with the increase of Indonesia’s population growth. This makes, the volume of demand for food and beverage increase. Consequently, investors’ interest in investing their money to support capital market growth increase also. Moreover, the capital market is a place where investors and those who need funds by carrying out securities trading activities meet each other. This can be affected by the profitability, liquidity, and solvability of the company. The research was quantitative. The population was Food and Beverage companies listed in IDX 2017-2021. Additionally, the data were secondary. The independent variables were Return On Asset, Current Ratio, and Debt to Equity Ratio. Meanwhile, the Price to Book Value was the dependent variable. The result concluded that both profitability and solvability had a positive significant effect on the firm value. However, liquidity had a negative and significant effect on the firm value. As a suggestion, companies needed to consider the profitability, liquidity, and solvability of the company.
