PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN PENJUALAN, PROFITABILITAS, DAN INFLASI TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM FARMASI DI BEI

Abstract

Pharmaceutical companies become one of the business sectors which aims to serve the customers and help society due to increasing the companies’ wealth. Therefore, this research aimed to find out, examine, and analyze the effect of sales growth, profitability, and inflation on the stock price of Pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2017-2021. Moreover, sales growth was measured by comparing the existing year sales with the previous one. Profitability was measured by Return On Equity (ROE) and inflation was measured by using inflation rate within one year. Furthermore, the research was quantitative with causal-comparative as the approach. The data collection technique used purposive sampling, with sample was based on the criteria given. Additionally, the population was 11 Pharmaceutical companies with 7 samples listed on IDX 2017-2021. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 26. In addition, the result concluded that sales growth as well as profitability had a significant effect on stock price. However, the inflation had an insignificant effect on the stock price.
