PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS DAN LIKUIDITAS TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PADA PERUSAHAAN FOOD AND BEVERAGE YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability and liquidity on the stock price of Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2018-2021. Profitability was measured by Return On Asset (ROA), liquidity was measured by Current Ratio (CR), and the stock price was measured by the closing price. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the population was Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data were secondary, in the form of companies ‘ financial statements which were listed on IDX. In line with that were 15 companies as the sample. Furthermore, the data were taken for 4 years (2018-2021). In total, where 60 data samples. The data analysis technique used multiple linier regression with SPSS 20. The result concluded that both profitability and liquidity had a positive and significant effect on the stock price of Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2018-2021.
