ANALISIS KINERJA KEUANGAN PT BANK RAKYAT INDONESIA (PERSERO) TBK MENGGUNAKAN METODE CAMEL PERIODE 2017 – 2021

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the financial performance with the CAMEL method. Moreover, it was conducted at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The research was quantitative. Furthermore, there were some aspects within analysis; namely, Capital, Asset, Management, Earning, and Liquidity (CAMEL). Additionally, the ratios which were used, i.e. CAR, KAP, NPM, ROA, BOPO, and LDR. The CAR ratio was in the healthy predicate, the KAP ratio was in the healthy predicate, the NPM ratio was in the moderately healthy predicate, the ROA ratio was in the healthy predicate, the BOPO ratio was in the healthy predicate, the LDR ratio was in the healthy predicate. The research result indicated that the final value of CAMEL in each of the periods, by multiplying the credit value of each ratio with the CAMEL weight set by Bank Indonesia, was in the range of 81%-100%. Where in 2017, 92.02%, 2018, 92.02%, 2019, 92.1%, 2020, 89.72%, and 2021, 90.08%. Therefore, it could be concluded that financial performance of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk with the CAMEL method during 2017-2021 was in the healthy predicate.
