Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of sales growth, profit growth, profit, and liquidity on firm value at cosmetic and household companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2016-2021. The sales growth was measured by Net Sales Growth Ratio, profit growth was measured by Net Profit Growth Ratio, liquidity was measured by Current Ratio, and firm value was measured by Price to Book Value. . Furthermore, the data collection technique used saturated sampling. In line with that, there were 3 companies listed on IDX during 2016-2021 as the sample. Additionally, the data analysis technique used descriptive statistics and inferential; with multiple regression. The result of the descriptive statistics showed that sales growth, profit growth, and liquidity had low average values. While the result of the classical assumption showed that all variables fulfilled the assumption. Likewise, the result of the proper model test showed that the regression model was properly used. In addition, the result of the hypothesis test concluded that sales growth had a negative and insignificant effect on firm value. However, profit growth had a positive but insignificant effect on firm value. In contrast, liquidity had a negative and significant effect on firm value.
