Abstract

In the modern industrialization era, a company should optimize all existing supporting aspects in order to continue competing in today's industrial world, one of them is human resources. Optimization of human resources in today's industrial world is a must because humans are the prime mover in every activity and machine in the company. This research aimed to examine empirically the effect of transformational leadership, competence and motivation on the employee's performance at PT Atlantic Anugrah Metalindo. The research was descriptive-quantitative. Furthermore, the data collection technique used saturated sampling which used all the population of 67 employees as the research sample. Moreover, the independent variables were transformational leadership, competence, and motivation, While the dependent variable was employees’ performance. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 20. Additionally, the result showed that both partially and simultaneously the transformational leadership, competence, motivation had a positive and significant effect on the employees’ performance at PT Atlantic Anugrah Metalindo Surabaya.
