PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, NILAI TUKAR, DAN KEPUTUSAN INVESTASI TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN FARMASI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE 2017-2021

Abstract

This research aimed to find out how far the effect of profitability, exchange rate, and investment decisions on the firm value at the pharmaceutical companies listed on the indonesia stock exchange (IDX) 2017-2021. The research was causal-comparative with a quantitative approach. Moreover, the data were secondary which were taken from the companies financial statements and transaction rates of bank of indonesia. The population was 11 pharmaceutical companies listed on the indonesia stock exchange 2017-2021. Furthermore, the data collection technique used saturated sampling. In line with that, there were 7 companies with determined criteria as the sample. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (statistical product and service solution) 26. The result of the hypothesis test (t-test) showed that profitability (return on equity) had a positive and significant effect on the firm value at pharmaceutical companies for about 0.000. On the other hand, the exchange rate had a negative and insignificant effect on the firm value at pharmaceutical companies for about 0.351. In contrast, investment decisions (price earning ratio) had a positive and significant effect on the firm value at pharmaceutical companies for about 0.000.
