Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of compensation, motivation, and work discipline on the employees’ performance at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kapasan, Surabaya. The research was descriptive-quantitative. The population was all employees at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kapasan, Surabaya consisting of 40 people. Moreover, the data collection technique used saturated sampling, in which all members of the population were the sample. Te respondents were 40 employees at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kapasan, Surabayawhich located at JL. Gembong Sawah number 28, Surabaya. Furthermore, the data were primary with questionnaires as the instrument. The data collection technique used likert scale. Additionly, the data analysis technique used mutiple linier regression. The result from the instrument data test through validity, reability, and classical assuption test that used normality, multicollinearity, and hetercedastic showed that all variables were not against the criteria that had been decided. In addition, from proper model tests which used F-test and determination coefficient, also regression models were properly used. The result of the hypothesis test concluded that both compensation and motivation had a significantly positive effect on employees’ performance. However, work discipline had a positive and insignificanteffect on employees’performance.
