Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of self-efficacy, leader supervision, and workload on the employees’
performance of the Agricultural and Food Defence Agency, East Java province. The research was associativequantitative.
Moreover, the population was employees of the Agricultural and Food Defence Agency, East Java
province consisting of 165 people. Furthermore, the data collection technique used probability sampling. While the
sampling technique used simple random sampling. In line with that, there were 62 respondents as the sample.
Furthermore, the instrument of the data collection technique used questionnaires. The data analysis technique
used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Social Service) 20 version. According to the
result of the classical assumption test, there were no misleading variables. Additionally, the hypothesis test result
concluded that partially self-efficacy, leader supervision, and workload had a significantly positive effect on the
employees’ performance of the Agricultural and Food Defence Agency, East Java province.
