PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS, DAN LEVERAGE TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR ENERGI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on the firm value. Profitability
was measured by Return On Assets, liquidity was measured by Current Ratio, and leverage was measured by
Debt to Total Assets Ratio. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the population was Energy companies listed
on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the
sample was based on the criteria given. In line with that, there were 6 Energy companies asthe sample.
Furthermore, the data were taken for 5 years (2017-2021). In total, there were 28 observations data. Additionally,
the data analysis technique used multiple linear regressions with SPSS 27 version. The result showed that
profitability (Return On Assets) had a positive and significant effect on the firm value. However, liquidity
(Current Ratio) had a positive but insignificant effect on the firm value. In contrast, leverage (Debt to Total Assets
Ratio) had a positive and significant effect on the firm value.
