LEARNING PER SHARE (EPS) MEMODERASI PENGARUH KINERJA KEUANGAN TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM (STUDI PADA BANK BUMN TAHUN 2017-2020)

Abstract

This research aimed to examine and analyze the effect of financial Performance on the stock price, and whether the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS) could moderate the effect of financial performance on stock price (A Study at Bank of BUMN from 2017 into 2020). The population was Bank of BUMN listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2017-2020. The research was quantitative. Furthermore, the data were secondary. The data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was taken from the criteria given. The data were taken from financial data of Bank of BUMN listed on IDX which consisted of 4 companies, namely PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, and PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linier with SPSS 25. The result concluded that financial performance (ROA) had a positive and significant effect on the stock price. Likewise, Earning Per Share (EPS) had a positive and significant effect and was able to moderate the effect of financial performance on the stock price at Bank of BUMN listed on IDX from 2017-up to 2020.
