PENGARUH LIKUIDITAS, AKTIVITAS, DAN PROFITABILAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN PERTAMBANGAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of liquidity, activity, and profitability on firm value. The independent research variables were liquidity which was referred to as the Current Ratio, an activity which was referred to as Total Asset Turnover, and profitability which was referred to as Return On Equity. Meanwhile, the dependent research variable was firm value. The research period was from 2016-up to 2020. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on the criteria given. In line with that, there were 12 samples from 40 mining companies that were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 20. The research result concluded that liquidity (CR) had a positive but insignificant effect on firm value (PBV). On the other hand, activity (TATO) had a negative and insignificant effect on firm value (PBV). In contrast, profitability (ROE) had a positive and significant effect on firm value (PBV).
