Abstract

This research aimed as follows: to find out significantly partial the effect of work stress and workload on employees’ performance of PT Phintraco Sekuritas; to find out significantly simultaneously the effect of work stress and workload on employees’ performance of PT Phintraco Sekuritas.The research was quantitative. The population was all employees of PT Phintraco Sekuritas which consisted of 30 people. Due to the population not being big enough, the datancollection used saturated sampling. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. Based on the research, it could be concluded that: 1) Work stress affected partially on employees’ performance of PT. Phintraco Sekuritas. As employees had overload in their work, they would be able to overcome it with better emotion management, so that it did not cause higher work stress tgo them; 2) Workload affected partially on employees’ performance of PT. Phintraco Sekuritas. It meant, the employees had a cometence in controlling the workload given and those make them responsible; 3) Both work stress and workload had affected simultaneously on employees’ performance. This showed the two variables did not become something which needed to be considered as problem, since their job was a reflection of companies’ trust to them
