PENGARUH LEVERAGE, PROFITABILITAS, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN SUBSEKTOR FOOD AND BEVERAGE DI BEI

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of leverage, profitability, and firm size on firm value of Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The leverage was referred to DER profitability was referred to ROE, firm size was referred to SIZE, and firm value was referred to PBV. The research was quantitative. Moreover, data collection technique used saturated sampling. In line with that, there were 11 Food and Beverages companies which fulfilled as the sample. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential analysis which used multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. The research result, based on classical assumption test which used normality test, autocorrelation test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedastic test, showed that all variables had fulfilled classical assumption test. Additionally, based on the proper model test, it showed the regression model was properly used. In addition, the result of descriptive statistics concluded that leverage, profitability, firm size had low relative. Meanwhile, the hypothesis test result concluded that leverage as well as profitability had a positive and significant effect on firm value. In contrast, whereas firm size had an insignificant effect on firm value.
