PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN, MOTIVASI, DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI

Abstract

The research is to find out the influence of leadership, motivation, and working environment towards the performance of the employees in St. Louis 1 Catholic Senior High School Surabaya. The population in this research is all the employees in St. Louis 1 Catholic Senior High School at 7th M. Jasin Polisi Istimewa Street Surabaya. Sampling method applied with slovin theory based on the determined criteria gets 56 respondents. Random Sampling as the research method is done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Analytical method applied is multiple linear regression analysis with the aid of SPPS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) application. The result of the research shows the motivation variable with regression coefficient 0.403 and significant value 0,030. Additionally, the leadership variable has regression coefficient 0.274 and significant value 0,130; while, the working environment variable has regression coefficient 0.236 and significant value 0,135. This implies that leadership and working environment variables do not significantly influence the performance of the employees because its significant value is more than 0.05. Among those three research variables analyzed, it is inferred that motivation variable is the most dominant to influence the employees’ performance followed by the leadership and the working environment variables.
