PENGARUH UKURAN PERUSAHAAN DAN PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGAN STRUKTUR MODAL SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING (STUDI PADA PERUSAHAAN PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE YANG TERDAFTAR DIBEI PERIODE 2016-2020)

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of Firm Size and profitability on firm value of Property and Real Estate
companies which were listed on IDX during2016-2020, with capital structure as intervening variable.The data
collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the samplewas based on criteria given. Moreover, from 64
companies, there were 7 companieswhich fulfilled the criteria as a sample. Furthermore, the data were secondary.
Additionally, the data analysis technique used Partial Least Square with SmartPLS 3.0.The research result
concluded that firm size, profitability, and capital structure had an insignificant effect on firm value. On the
other hand, capital structure had a significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile, profitability had a significant
effect on capital structure. In contrast, firm size had an insignificant effect on capital structure. In general, capital
structure could not mediate the effectof firm size and profitability on firm value.
