Abstract

The Indonesian pharmaceutical industry is engaged in the manufacturing field which produces drugs with many customers so that pharmaceutical experience increase and the company try to produce more and improve the quality and quantity in order to compete in pharmaceutical industries. This research was aimed to examine the effect of return on equity, debt to equity ratio, earning per share, inflation and interest rate on the stock price at a pharmaceutical company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2016-2020. This research was quantitative. The sample collection technique used purposive sampling in accordance with determined criteria it obtained 7 companies. Moreover, the analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The research result showed that ROE had an insignificantly positive effect on the stock price which meant that the fluctuation had a significant effect on the stock price. DER and EPS had a significantly positive on the stock price which meant that increase or decrease had a significant effect on the stock price. Inflation and interest rate had an insignificant negative effect on the stock price. It was advisable for pharmaceutical companies to pay attention to the rate of return on equity in managing their capital so that they could generate substantial profits.
