Abstract

Maximizing the value of the company is the main goal of a company. But sometimes these goals fail to be achieved, one of the reasons is the company's inaccuracy in applying factors that affect the value of the company. This resulted in the company's performance is seen poorly by investors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability variables, dividend policy and company size on the value of the company proxied by PBV (Price Book Value) on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2017. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling technique, so that 11 companies were obtained that could be sampled. While the analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis, classic assumption test, model feasibility test and hypothesis testing using SPSS tools. The results of this study indicate that profitability (ROE) has a significant positive effect on firm value, dividend policy (DPR) has no significant positive effect on firm value, and firm size (SIZE) has no significant positive effect on firm value. All of these variables simultaneously have a significant effect on firm value with a correlation of 86%. And the classic assumption test used has met the specified criteria.
