PERANAN KESEHATAN, KEAMANAN DAN KESELAMATAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PT. INKATAMA WANCHENG INDONESIA

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the implementation of the health, safety, and work safety (K3), the role of the health, safety, and work safety (K3) on the employees’ performance and the importance of implementingof the health, safety, and work safety (K3) by employees to improve employee performance at PT. Inkatama Wancheng Indonesia.This research was qualitative, and it was conducted on the wood process company which processed semi-finished wood materials. Furthermore, this research used observation, interview, and documentation as the research object while the research subject of this research used several employees’ on the company.Moreover, the result of this research showed that the lack of employees’ awareness related to the importance of health, safety, and work safety (K3) at the workplace, therefore, it caused many work accidents to happened and illness caused by work, lack of company discipline by all employees, especially employees who work in the production section, lack of socialization to employees who are difficult to notify, causing problems with coworkers and at work also the effect of employees’ performance which harmed the company.
