Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of working capital, liquidity, leverage, and activity on profitability of Food and Beverages companies which were listed Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2015-2018. While working capital was measured by working capital turnover, liquidity was measured by debt to equity ratio, and activity was measured by total asset turnover. Moreover, the research was quantitative. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sampel was based on criteria given. In line with, there were 11 companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as the sampel. According to hypothesis testing, it concluded that working capital had an insignificant effect on profitability. On the other hand, liquidity had a significant effect on profitability. Likewise, leverage had a significant effect on profitability of Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2015-2018.
