Abstract

This research was aimed to find out and analyze the effect of competency and self-efficacy on the employees’ performance through the work environment as the intervening variable at MAP Fashion Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya. This research uses quantitative. Meanwhile, the population of this research used employees at MAP Fashion Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya. Moreover, the sample used 40 respondents. Meanwhile, the data collection of this research used the questionnaire method. The analysis method used multiple liniear analysis and path analysis with the application SPSS program 25 version. This research showed that competency had a sign with positive way on the employees’ performance. Self-efficacy did not have any significant effect on the employees’ performnace. Meanwhile, competency had a significant effect with positive direction to the work environment. Self-efficacy had a significant effect on the positive durection of the work environment. The work environment as mediated to the employees’ performance was significant with positive direction.
