Abstract

As one of the people needs in general, Food and Beverages companies nowadays have developed rapidly. In line with that, the more Food and Beverages companies are, the more contribution are given to its company and society. This research aimed to find out the effect of firm size, sales growth, and asset structure on capital structure at Food and Beverage companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2017. While, the sample was eleven Food and Beverages companies which were chosen with purposive sampling. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The research result showed, in regression model, there was no multicolinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasity; and the model had normal distribution. According to F-test, it concluded the firm size, sales growth, and asset structure had significant effect on capital structure. On the other hand, from T-test, it concluded the firm size and sales growth had negative and insignificant effect on the capital structure. From the independent variable, namely firm size, sales growth, and assets structure; it showed capital structure of 24.5%. Furthermore, the rest percentage of 75.5 had been showed by other variables, which out of the research.
