ANALISIS LAPORAN KEUANGAN PT SMARTFREN TELECOM Tbk SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH AKUISISI

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the financial statement of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk before and
after the acquisition and to find out the financial performance of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk before and after the
acquisition in 2010 underwent enhancement before the acquisition. Since this research is a case study. The
researchhas been carried out specifically on particular object which is PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk in Indonesia
Stock Exchange before the acquisition in 2007-2009 periods and after the acquisition in 2011-2012 periods.
While the Paired Sample t-test is used as the data analysis test. It has been found from the result of calculation
that there are 3financial ratios which do not have significant difference i.e.: current ratio, quick ratio, and
operating profit margin. It means that there is no significant difference among these 3 ratios and it describes that
the financial performance of the company does not undergo any significant changes in which the reduction
occurs but not significant.
