Abstract

Financial statement is a statement which is shows the financial condition of the company in the current time or
in a certain period. The current condition of the company can be seen from the financial performance of the
company. Good financial performance will impact on the stock price since financial performance reflects one of
the performances of the company. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of the financial
performance of the company to the stock price of the manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesia
stock Exchange. The measurement instrument of the financial performance applies 5 financial ratios i.e.: Current
Ratio (CR), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Earning
Per Share (EPS). The multiple linear regressions are used as the data analysis method. The sample collection
technique has been carried out by using purposive sampling. The result of the research shows that ROE, DER,
and EPS variables have significant influence to the stock price whereas CR and DAR variables have
insignificant influence to the stock price. It can be concluded from the result of partial determination coefficient
that the value of partial determination coefficient of Earning per Share variable is the highest; therefore it will
attract the investors to invest their capital.
