Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine and to analyze the influence of training, compensation satisfaction, motivation, and labor discipline to the performance of the employees. The population is the employees of PT Armada International Motor Daihatsu Surabaya which is an organization which engages in the field of distributor of Daihatsu automobile. The collection of samples has been done by using purposive sampling with the criteria on the employees as Marketing Officer, Maintenance, and Chief Operating Officer, Head of Administration, and Head of Accounting who has been working for at least 1 year. The collection of data has been carried out by issuing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The data analysis has been carried out by using SPSS 21 version, the data examination has been carried out by using validity tests i.e.: factor analysis, reliability test with Alpha Cronbach. Classic assumption test and multiple linear regressions analysis has been applied in order to prove and to test the research hypothesis. The result of the research which has been done by using model feasibility test indicates the presence of significant influence among training, compensation satisfaction, motivation, and labor discipline variables to the performance of the employees, the determination coefficient test (Rsquare) indicates large contribution. Meanwhile, the partial examination indicates that training, compensation satisfaction, motivation, and labor discipline variables have significant influence to the performance of the employees; motivation is the variable which has the most dominant influence since its partial determination coefficient is larger than training, compensation satisfaction and labor discipline.
