Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of leadership style, organization commitment, and motivation to the performance of the employees on the sales department of Honda Jemursari Surabaya. The population is 150 employees of Honda Jemursari Surabaya. The sample collection technique has been done by using probability sampling technique or simple random sampling in which the sample collection method is done randomly to all members of population who have the same opportunity to be selected as a sample. The determination of the amount of sample has been done by using the Slovin formula and 109 respondents have been obtained.The test result simultaneoously using the F test showed that the multiple linear regression model was worthy. Furthermore,The result of the test shows that the leadership style, organization commitment, and motivation have positive and significant influence to the performance of the employees particularly in the sales department. The leadership style is the dominant variable and it gives greater influence to the performance of the employees. The leader and the employee should have a good cooperation to solve problems that happen in a company and to improve the good quality to be a smart leader and employee.
