Abstract

The success of a company will not be separated from the existence and influence of human resources in it. Human resources can be interpreted as an integrated ability of the power of thought and physical power possessed by individuals. In a company, employees are one of the most important elements, because without the role of employees the company will not run, even though various required factors are available. This study aims to determine the effect of independent variables: leadership style and work discipline, on the dependent variable on employee performance. The population in this study were employees of PT. Putra Guna Jaya Mulia as many as 45 employees, and sampling techniques using census techniques, namely all populations sampled, the observation period was conducted in 2019. Types of data used in this study are primary data using questionnaires. Analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis. The test results of this study stated that the leadership style variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance and the work discipline variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance
