PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK KEUANGAN DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN PADA PERUSAHAAN TEKSTIL DAN GARMENT DI BEI

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effect of financial characteristics and firm size on financial performance. While, the population was 18 Textile and Garment company which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2014-2018. Moreover, the research object was textile and garment company. The research was quantitative. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample, in which the sample was based on criteria given. In line with, there were 6 Textile and Garment companies during 2014-2018, as sample. Additionally, the data analysis technique use multiple linear regression. Based on the research result, from proper model test (F-test), it concluded t showed current ratio (CR) had significant effect on financial performance. Likewise, total asset turnover ratio (TATO) had significant effect on financial performance. On the other hand, debt to equity ratio (DER) had insignificant effect on financial performance. Likewise, firm size had insignificant effect on financial performance of textile and garment companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
