Abstract

This research aimed to find out and examine the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Return on Assets (ROA) of cigarettes companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange ( IDX). While, the research was quantitative. Moreover, the population was 4 cigarettes companies, namely PT. Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), PT. HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), PT. Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk (WIIM), and PT. Bantoel Internasional Investama Tbk (RMBA) during observation year 2011-2018. Furthermore, the data collection technique used saturated sampling, in which all population were sample. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) 20. In addition, from proper model test (F-test), it showed that this model was properly used. Meanwhile, the research results concluded Current Ratio (CR) had an insignificant effect on Return on Assets (ROA). On the other hand, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) had significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA) of cigarettes companies which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2018.
