DETERMINANT OF FIRM'S VALUE: STUDY IN INDONESIAN STOCK EXCHANGE

Abstract

This research aimed to examine how far the effect of profitability, leverage, and firm size on the firm value of Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research was quantitative. Moreover, the data were secondary, which in the form of financial statement of Food and Beverages companies. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on criteria given. In line with, there were 12 samples from 26 Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (2014-2018). In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. The research result concluded profitability had positive and significant effect on the firm value of Food and Beverages companies. Likewise, leverage had positive and significant effect on the firm value of Food and Beverages companies. On the other hand, the firm size had positive but insignificant effect on the firm value of Food and Beverages companies.
