Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of probability, liquidity and leverage on firm value of Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data were secondary, which in form of companies’ financial statement. While, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with, there were 11 Food and Beverages companies during 2014-2018. Based on the results of data analysis, the variables used in this study are firm value (PBV) as the dependent variable and the independent variable is profitability (ROE), liquidity (CR) and leverage (DAR). The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis processed with the application of SPSS version 22. Based on the results of the study showed that profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value, meaning that the higher the firm’s profit, the higher the firm value. Liquidity had positive and insignificant effect on firm value, meaning that it cannot be used as a material consideration in determining firm value. Leverage had positive and insignificant effect on firm value, meaning that it cannot be used as material for consideration in determining the value of the firm.
