Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of firm size, profitability, liquidity and capital structure of the sales growth to the consumer goods company. The data is the secondary by using financial statements. The sample collection technique by using purposive sampling, the research conducted in 2011-2015 periods. The capital structure is measured by using the debt to equity ratio (DER) formula. The data analysis has been carried out by using is multiple linear analysis. The result of the research shows that firm size does not give any significant influence to the capital structure and profitability which is measured by the return on assets (ROA) give significant and positive influence to the capital structure because high profitability, companies can be easy to obtain funds from the external party whereas the liquidity give and significant negatife influence to the capital structure because when the liquidity of the company is high, the company is tend to be able to meet its short term obligations and sales growth give significant negatife influence to the capital structure.
