PENGARUH FAMILY CONTROL, PROFITABILITAS, STRUKTUR MODAL, DAN PERTUMBUHAN PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR PERTANIAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

Abstract

One of the company’s objective is to increase its value. This happens as company value shows the properity of the shareholder. As consequence, it can attract the investors. This research aimed to examine the effect of family control, profitability, capital structure, and firm growth which were referred to dummy variable, Return On Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and GROWTH which was referred tp Price Book Value (PBV) on the farming sector companies. The research was quantitative. While, the population was farming sector companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2014-2018. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling in which the sample was based on criteria given. In line with, there were 7 companies with the total sample of 35. Furthermore, the data were secondary which in the form of companies’ financial statement. In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 23. The research result concluded family control and capital strucure did not affect the firm. On the other hand, profitability and firm growth had positive and significant effect on the firm value.
