Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of motivation, working environment, and organizational commitment on the employees’ performance of Centro Department Store, Galaxy Mall Surabaya. The research was quantitative. While, the population was 70 employees of Centro Departmen Store, Galaxy Mall Surabaya. Moreover, in data collection technique, the instrument used questionnairs, which were distributed to every employees. Futhermore, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. Based on the research result, it concluded as follow: (1) motivation had positive and significant effect on the employees’ performance. It meant, the highter the motivation, the highter employees’ performance, (2) working environtment had positive but insignificant effect on the employees’ performance. In other words, its environment did not effect the employees’ performance, (3) organizational commitment had positive and significant effect on the employees’ performance. It meant, the highter its level of organizational commitment, the highter the employees’ performance of Centro Department Store, Galaxy Mall Surabaya.
