Abstract

Corporate financial performance is a description of financial condition of a company so that the financial
condition which reflects the performance achievement of a company in a certain period can be known whether it
is good or bad. Information about corporate financial performance, for the investors, can be used to see whether
they will maintain their investment in the company or seek for other alternatives. This research is aimed to find
out the influence of financial performance which has been measured by using return on assets, return on equity,
earning per share, price earning ratio, and debt to equity ratio to the stock price of telecommunication companies
which are listed in the IDX. The population in this research is 8 telecommunication companies which are listed
in the IDX. The sample collection has been done by using purposive sampling technique and 3 companies have
been selected as samples by using company financial statement in 2011-2015 periods. The quantitative analysis
has been applied in this research in order to carry out the data processing of financial statement in the form
figures by usingfinancial ratio. The result of the multiple linear regressions analysis shows that return on assets,
return on equity, earning per share, price earning ratio, and debt to equity ratio give positive influence to the
stock price of telecommunication companies which are listed in the IDX. The result of the t test shows that
partially return on assets, return on equity, earning per share, price earning ratio, and debt to equity ratio give
significant influence to the stock price of telecommunication companies which are listed in the IDX.
