Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of financial ratio which consist of Net Profit Margin, Debt to Enquity Ratio, Current Ratio, and Earning per Share to the stock price of transportation companies 2013-2017. While, the sampling collection technique used purposive sampling.Moreover,the data analysis method used multiple regression linear, classical assumption test, coefficient of determination, proper and hypothesis testing. In addition, the output result of SPSS showed the independent variables,namely Net Profit Margin, Debt to Equity Ratio, Current Ratio, and Earning Per Share did not have Tolerance > 1 and did not have a VIF > 10. In other words, there was no multi-collinierity. On the other hand, according to the results of hypothesis testing, Net Profit Margin had no significant effects on stock prices, while Debt to Equity Ratio has a significant effect on stock prices. Furthermore, Current Ratio had a significant effect on stock prices and also Earning Per Share had a significant effect on stock prices. In addition, R Square was 87.3%. In other words, the dependent variable could be explained by the independent variable and the remaining 12.7% could be explained by other factors.
