Abstract

This research is meant to find out the influence of ability, training, and motivation to the employee
performance of office department of PT. SMART Tbk Surabaya. The population is 150 employees of
office department of PT. SMART Tbk Surabaya. The sample collection technique has been carried out
by using simple random sampling is a sample collection technique which gives equal opportunity to
every element of the population to be selected as the members of samples and the samples have been
selected randomly without regarding the level in the population. Therefore, the samples are all
employees of office department of PT. SMART Tbk Surabaya who have been selected randomly and
100 respondents have been selected as samples.The result of the examination shows that the work
ability give positive influence to the employee performance, job training give positive influence to the
employee performance, work motivation give positive influence to the employee performance, ability,
training, and motivation give positive influence to the employee performance of office department of
PT. SMART Tbk
