Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the promotional costs and interest rates on third party funds. The data that been used in this research is secondary data that is the financial statements of banking companies which is listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The number of samples which used in this research are 6 companies: Bank Central Asia, Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Tabungan Negara, Bank CIMB Niaga, Bank Negara Indonesia which is listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange located at STIESIA Jalan Menur pumpungan No.30 on year 2011-2016 was taken by using purposive sampling method. Data analysis method from this research use multiple linear regression analysis with using SPSS tool. The independent variable in this research is Promotion Cost and Interest Rate. While the dependent variable in this research is Third Party Fund. The results of this research indicates that independent variables are promotional costs have a positive and significant impact on third party funds while the dependent variable is the interest rate does not significantly influenced the third party funds.
