Abstract

The objectives of this research is to find out and to evaluate the performance measurement on PT
Prudential Life Assurance by using Balanced Scorecard. The research method has been carried out by using
qualitative method which is meant to comprehend the phenomena which have been experienced by the research
subject. The result of the research shows that the company has vision, mission, clear strategy and indicators
which are required in performance measurement. Financial perspective shows that the result of financial
performance is quite well in achieving the income target which is above the determined target. Customer
perspective has been able to dominate the market segment. The internal business process shows innovation and
service facilities which ease the customer. Learning and growth perspective shows the performance of human
resources in commitment and capability as professional marketing. It can be concluded that the implementation
of Balanced Scorecard can be used as a tool to interpret the vision, mission, and corporate strategy which is
reviewed from financial and non financial perspective. The company has been expected to be able to develop the
objectives and the corporate strategic target maximally.
