Abstract

The research aims to determine the prediction level of bankruptcy of textile and garment companies using Altman’s Z-Score analysis method which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analyzed is secondary data consisting of balance sheet and income statement from the company’s financial statement during 2012 until 2016. Sampling technique is purposive sampling technique (based on purpose). In sampling criteria used are textile and garment companies that publis financial statements regulary in 2012 until the year 2016. Therefor, from those criteria, there are eight companies. As for dependent variable is the financial ratios contained in the Altman’s Z-Score model. The result of the research showed that there are three companies in a state of bankruptcy and five companies in a state of bankruptcy. Companies that are classified as bankrupt and advised to immediately improve financial performance and strive to continue to improve the company’s performance in order to avoid the bankruptcy.
