Abstract

Firm value is part of company value owned. The higher the firm value, the more investors want to invest their money in the company. It happens as the investors assume the higher the firm value, the higher the company prosperity level. The research problems were size, debts, profitability affect the firm value of Plastic and Packaging companies. While, the population was 13 Plastic and Packaging companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research aimed to find out the effect of size, debt, and profitability on the firm value of Plastic and Packaging companies. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the collection was based on criteria given. Moreover, there were nine Plastic and Packaging companies as sample. The research result concluded the firm size had positive and insignificant effect on the firm value. It meant, the firm size could not be used as benchmark which the company had higher firm value. On the other hand, debts had positive and significant effect on the firm value. In other words, debt could help companies to increase the firm value. Moreover, profitability had positive and significant effect on the firm value.
